The SC Wind Pool (SCWHUA), explained

The South Carolina Wind & Hail Underwriting Association writes wind and hail coverage for properties in a defined coastal territory when the private market won't. It's often paired with a homeowners policy that excludes wind. Official site: scwind.com.
